Ghostwriting is a service which provides written text in exchange for monetary compensation. Ghostwriting does not include the Editorial or Publishing steps needed to finalize a novel’s publication, but instead offers a Final Draft which can then be submitted to an Editorial and Publishing Company.

When using a ghostwriter, you are not required to recognize them in your project. However, if you would like to recognize your ghostwriter, you may do so by including them in your acknowledgements.

At the end of the day, this is your project. Ghostwriters only help you put your vision to paper! You can be as involved or as distant from the process as you’d like, it’s completely up to you!
